The Labour Inspectorate in short

The Labour Inspectorate (Arbeidsinspectie) is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and is comprised of 3 departments (see the organisational chart.)

The Labour Inspectorate promotes compliance with labour protection laws and combats labour market fraud. Its priority is tackling serious violations of the law.

The Labour Inspectorate’s working area includes all companies and commercial and non-commercial (private and public) establishments in the Netherlands.
